Also, she has earned a Master in Business Administration (M.B.L.) Degree from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. Soon after, she joined ABN AMRO as a junior relationship banker but her mind got diverted towards civil services and she quit her job and gave her full time for the IAS preparation.

She achieved 39th rank all over India and scored a total of 1241 marks out of 2300.
At first, Amrapali was appointed as the Sub-Collector in 2013 and got a chance to serve Vikarabad, Telangana. Soon, she was appointed as the director of the women and child welfare department. In 2015, Amrapali became the Joint Collector of Ranga Reddy District in Telangana and then as the District Collector of Warangal Urban District, Telangana in 2016.
